Spring High School Sailing

Madison Youth Sailing Foundation is excited to launch High School Sailing through the Interscholastic Sailing Association in Spring 2026 for 7th through 12th graders. All 7th-12th graders in the Madison area are eligible to participate in practices. Regatta eligibility is dependent on the schools tier, see below. Spring 2026 will only be open to sailors who have experience in 420 sailboats regardless of local high school. All 7th graders are ineligible to participate in high school regattas through ISSA, but are encouraged to join practices and prepare for their 8th grade year when they can compete in Tier 3 regattas. Enrollment for the Spring 2026 season is $550 per sailor and includes coaching for both practices and regattas. Regatta participation is an additional cost that is paid directly to the sailing center that is hosting the regatta.

April 7-May 27, 2026

Tuesdays & Wednesdays 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Arrive between 4 - 4:30 PM to begin rigging. Practice briefing to begin at 4:30 PM. Return to shore at 6:30 PM to derig and debrief before practice ends at 7:00 PM.
